Ashley and Jacob at Hotel Kansas City

Ashley and Jacob got married in early November in downtown Kansas City at Hotel KC. This wedding was the perfect example of modern, chic yet timeless and elegant. We used a classic white and green color palette for the personal flowers and ceremony and then hit the reception with statement centerpieces in red and burgundy tones.

The ceremony was set in front of the the stained glass. We focused on candlelight with accents of orchids, calla lilies and rose petals. Ashley’s bouquet mirrored the ceremony flowers using the same blooms in her modern petite posy, while the girls held a few white callas tied with ribbon.

The reception tables were a mix of full floral mounds based in hydrangea and minimal ikebana arrangements using anthurium. The head table was loaded with candles and single stems of burgundy calla lilies. It was simple, yet intentional adding a fresh look in the historic space.
