Meet Ferrell

As founder, owner, and Creative Director of The Cottage Rose, Ferrell approaches floristry through the lens of design. With a master's degree in Architecture from the University of Kansas, her work is rooted in composition, balance, proportion, and the thoughtful relationship between form and spaceβ€”principles that continue to shape every bouquet, table scape, and large-scale installation.

While architecture wasn't her final destination, it laid the foundation for the way she sees the world today. Ferrell found her true calling in the floral industry, working alongside her mother, the original founder of The Cottage Rose. There, she discovered a passion for creating meaningful environments through flowers, blending years of hands-on experience with an innate eye for design and an ever-evolving curiosity to explore new techniques.

Today, Ferrell leads every creative project from concept to completion, collaborating closely with clients to create immersive floral experiences that feel deeply personal, artfully considered, and entirely one of a kind. Under her creative direction, The Cottage Rose has evolved into a design-led floral studio where flowers become a medium for storytellingβ€”transforming spaces, shaping atmosphere, and creating moments that linger long after the last bloom has faded.
