Alison and Kyle: An Elegant Summer Wedding at The Guild

Alison and Kyle got married in July in the Crossroads District of Kansas City at The Guild. They hosted an elegant affair with a vibe inspired by summer. We used a warm color palette of orange, gold, brown and coral with minimal touches of white and green to break up the composition.

In order to elevate the floral look, we used our Oh Flora compotes, ribbed glass votives and tall gold stand centerpieces. A mix of lush garden roses from Rose Story Farm paired so nicely with local seasonal wildflowers.

The ceremony was held in the courtyard and we create the backdrop in two tall pieces FULL of blooms in the prettiest palette. It really popped within the neutral tones of the ceremony location. Following the ceremony, we repurposed the piece behind the head table for an added lush effect.

The seating chart display may be my favorite detail of the whole day! We create two larger pieces to add a backdrop to the acrylic signage made by Script Your Event and added in head of flowers to the table for more color. Check out the amazing photos by Brittyn Elizabeth Studios below!
