Kaitlyn and Emily at Hotel Kansas City
Kaitlyn and Emily got married in the spring at Hotel KC. The whole day was so full of love, happy tears and whimsical pastel flowers.
The ceremony was set in front of the vintage fireplace in the President’s Room. This provided the perfect backdrop to load with flowers. One side focused on shape and height and the other was lower to the ground. The pastel color palette was so feminine and provided a nice pop in the brown toned room. We used A LOT of spring flowers, it smelled amazing. Following the ceremony we repurposed the flowers around the sweetheart table.
Kaitlyn and Emily wanted to carry bouquets that corresponded and mirrored each other but had differences unique to each bride. Emily’s used more blue tones and Kaitlyn’s used more peach and blush.
The reception was held in the Tudor Ballroom, which is such an iconic space. We added in soft florals to provide a nice juxtaposition to the dark heavy walls. Candlelight was the finishing touch.
