Daya and Ellie at The Simpson House
Last September Daya and Ellie got married in the backyard of Simpson House. The whole day was so intentional and full of love for the happy couple.
The ceremony was set under the big tree in the shade so we wanted to add a pop of color without taking away from the beautiful setting. We used stems bright red nina roses to stick in the ground and created small clusters of blooms to compliment the roses and outline the altar space. Following the ceremony we repurposed the flowers around the sweetheart table.
Daya and Ellie wanted to carry bouquets that corresponded and mirrored each other but had differences unique to each bride. Daya loves red anemones and Ellie loves plants so we used each as the focal point while using seasonal flowers in both.
The weather on this day was truly amazing and the outdoor dinner set really stole the show. It felt intimate and so special. We mixed bud vases with vintage gold trays of fruit and red ribbon for another pop. And of course lots of candles.
