Anna and Andrew Reception Details at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts

Airy, textural and feminine reception details to swoon over! Anna had such a chic, modern vision and we were so honored to bring it to life.

Anna and Andrew held their reception at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in the Crossroads neighborhood of Kansas City. The space is all white in color palette, bright, filled with windows and features focal point architectural moments like grand staircases, a floor to ceiling cable structure and large balconies that lead to performance halls. We wanted to enhance and compliment these unique characteristics without distracting from the space itself.

We choose a classic white and green color palette, but added modern touches from the gold and ribbed glass decor and flower types. Orchids and calla lilies were the focal point flowers with baby’s breath, hydrangea and roses providing a base. To add a nod to spring, we used greenery from lilac bushes because of the dainty leaves and sculptural nature of the branches.
